Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby colour with youthful intensity. The nose is poised and layered, with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violet and subtle spice, all framed by polished oak and a refined mineral edge. On the palate, the 2021 vintage is expected to be more classical than opulent, offering fresh acidity, finely integrated tannins and excellent definition. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and cassis-driven depth, while Merlot adds softness and mid-palate richness, with the supporting grapes contributing complexity and lift. Production
Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the wine comes from gravelly soils that naturally favour Cabernet Sauvignon, helping to create wines with concentration, freshness and age-worthy structure. The final blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot is carefully assembled to reflect the vintage and the château’s signature style, with meticulous vineyard work and classic Bordeaux vinification techniques used to preserve purity and precision.
