Tasting Notes
Ma Danseuse shows the grace and lift you’d expect from top-tier Pinot Noir, with a polished ruby tone in the glass. The nose is typically marked by fragrant red berries, wild cherry, floral notes, and a subtle earthy complexity, while the palate balances silky texture with freshness, layered fruit, and refined spice. The cool influence from the Pacific helps preserve vibrancy and detail, giving the wine excellent structure and aging potential. In youth it will be expressive and charming, but it should also reward several years in bottle as the aromatics deepen and the texture becomes even more seamless.

Production
The fruit comes from Peter Michael’s own Seaview Vineyard, planted on a steep hillside at around 400 meters above sea level in California. This elevated site benefits from cooling Pacific breezes and measured sunlight exposure, creating ideal conditions for slow, even ripening and wines with concentration as well as freshness.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast duck, game birds, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, and earthy vegetarian plates. Serve slightly chilled at around 15–16°C, and consider decanting briefly if drinking it young to allow the aromas to open fully.
