Description
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2007 Magnum is a refined expression of Champagne craftsmanship, combining elegance, depth, and striking individuality in a generous 1.5-liter format. Crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, it reflects the house’s signature style and long artistic heritage dating back to 1811, making it a celebrated choice for exceptional occasions.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate salmon-pink hue with a subtle golden sheen and a persistent, fine mousse. The bouquet is layered and expressive, opening with wild strawberries, raspberries, and red cherries, followed by floral notes of rose petals and violet, with discreet hints of citrus, almond, and brioche adding complexity.
The palate is silky and harmonious, marked by vibrant freshness and a beautifully balanced structure. Pinot Noir brings intensity and backbone, while Chardonnay lends finesse and lift, resulting in a long, delicate finish with a mineral edge. Thanks to the magnum format, the wine has excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve gracefully over time.
Production
This cuvée draws on grapes from some of Champagne’s most esteemed sites, with Pinot Noir sourced from villages such as Aÿ and Mailly for structure and concentration, and Chardonnay from Cramant and Avize for precision and freshness. The magnum format provides ideal conditions for slow, graceful maturation and helps preserve the wine’s layered character.
Vinified with a focus on elegance and balance, the blend is crafted to highlight both fruit purity and textural finesse. The result is a rosé Champagne with depth, tension, and a finely etched style that is unmistakably Perrier-Jouët.
Food & Serving
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2007 Magnum pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck, veal, shellfish, lobster, or tuna, as well as fruit-forward desserts and lightly sweet preparations. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open carefully and allow the wine a few moments in the glass to раскрыthe full bouquet.
