Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a golden hue with remarkable brightness and delicate apple-toned reflections. The nose is expressive and graceful, unfolding with white flowers, peach, pear, and a lift of fresh citrus. On the palate it is impressively fresh and finely balanced, with Chardonnay bringing elegance and precision, Pinot Noir adding structure, and Pinot Meunier contributing harmony and roundness. This is a Champagne that feels both vibrant and composed, with a style that should continue to develop beautifully over time. While already highly seductive, its complexity and structure suggest excellent aging potential for collectors who prefer mature vintage Champagne.

Production
This vintage cuvée is built around grapes from some of Champagne’s most prized terroirs, particularly the Grand Cru villages of Cramant and Avize, which give the wine its distinctive chalk-driven finesse and floral character. Perrier-Jouët’s approach emphasizes elegance over power, using Pinot Noir from the Reims area to support the Chardonnay, with a small proportion of Pinot Meunier added for balance. The blend is 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, and 5% Pinot Meunier, and the wine spends at least six years ageing before release.

Food & Serving
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Luminous 2007 pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, roast poultry, or rich white-fish preparations, as well as more luxurious vegetable dishes featuring peach, turnip, or delicate spring greens.
