This wine comes from Perdeberg’s dryland vineyards in Agter Paarl, between Malmesbury and Durbanville, an area known for its distinctive terroir and naturally concentrated fruit. The estate was established by Jan Rossouw, who brought local farmers together with the idea of making wine themselves rather than selling their grapes. Perdeberg continues to combine heritage with innovation, using modern cellar techniques and advanced vineyard monitoring such as aerial infrared imagery to protect the vines and support sustainable farming.
