Tasting Notes
In the glass, this deep ruby wine shows impressive concentration and youthful vibrancy. The nose is classic Pauillac: layers of blackcurrant, cassis, cedar, graphite, and subtle floral and spice notes, with a refined oak frame supporting the fruit. On the palate, it is precise and well-structured, with firm but polished tannins, bright freshness, and a long, mineral-driven finish. The 2019 vintage suggests excellent aging potential, and the Double Magnum format will help preserve its energy and complexity for many years to come.

Production
Produced in Pauillac, on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Pedesclaux benefits from the appellation’s gravelly soils, which are especially well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and lend power, freshness, and a distinct mineral edge. The grapes are typically harvested parcel by parcel at optimal ripeness, then vinified with careful temperature control and traditional Bordeaux methods to preserve purity, structure, and balance.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with classic red meat dishes such as roast lamb, beef ribeye, venison, or duck breast, as well as truffle-infused dishes and aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if opening young to allow the aromatics and tannins to fully open.
