Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine is deep ruby with youthful purple highlights, hinting at its concentration and freshness. The nose opens with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, and subtle floral notes, followed by touches of spice and toasted oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with finely etched tannins, vibrant acidity, and a core of dark fruit balanced by mineral and savory nuances. The finish is long and composed, suggesting excellent aging potential over the next 10–20 years, where its structure and complexity should continue to unfold.

Production
Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the wine benefits from the region’s gravelly soils, which provide excellent drainage and help the vines ripen with balance and precision. Harvesting is typically carried out plot by plot to preserve the character of each parcel, with careful sorting before fermentation. Vinification is aimed at extracting color, aroma, and structure while maintaining finesse, followed by maturation in oak barrels to integrate tannins and add complexity.

This is a natural partner for classic Bordeaux pairings such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, or game with mushroom sauces. It also works beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
