Pedesclaux lies in the heart of Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, where deep gravel soils over clay and limestone provide ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and its supporting varieties. The estate’s vineyards benefit from excellent drainage and the moderating influence of the nearby Gironde estuary, helping grapes ripen fully while retaining freshness. Harvesting is typically carried out parcel by parcel to preserve precision and site expression, followed by traditional Bordeaux vinification with temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in oak barrels. The result is a wine that balances ripe fruit, structure, and the hallmark elegance of great Pauillac.
