Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in colour, this Pinot Noir opens with a complex and expressive nose of wild berries, dark cherries, forest floor and layered spice. The aromatics are vivid and inviting, with a sense of depth that hints at the wine’s concentration. On the palate, it is silky, concentrated and beautifully layered, with fresh acidity balancing ripe fruit and giving the wine shape and energy. The finish is long and structured, and while it is already highly enjoyable now, it also has the backbone to evolve gracefully over the next few years.

Production
L’Usine comes from Santa Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County, a cool coastal appellation shaped by marine fog and ocean breezes that help preserve acidity and aromatic precision in Pinot Noir. These conditions encourage a slower ripening cycle, allowing the fruit to develop depth while retaining freshness and structure. The vinification reflects a modern, fruit-driven style designed to showcase both richness and finesse.

Food & Serving
Serve this Pinot Noir slightly chilled, ideally around 15–16°C, with no decanting required unless you want to open it up a little in advance. It pairs beautifully with poultry, duck, grilled light meats, roast salmon, and earthy dishes such as mushroom risotto or truffle pasta.
