Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark mahogany hue with a polished, almost opaque intensity. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of caramelized sugar, toasted oak, vanilla, dark cocoa, and roasted spices, supported by a subtle smoky edge from the extra-charred casks. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, delivering concentrated notes of toffee, burnt sugar, dried fruit, cocoa, oak spice, and warming molasses. Despite its power, the blend remains smooth and well-balanced, with a long, rounded finish. As a non-vintage limited release, it is built for immediate enjoyment rather than long cellaring, though it will continue to evolve beautifully in the glass over time.

This rum is assembled from select aged stocks sourced from acclaimed distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America, reflecting a broad regional style rather than a single estate terroir. The spirit is matured in extra-charred bourbon barrels, where the intense charring caramelizes natural wood sugars and deepens the aromatic complexity. Each batch is limited to a maximum of 2,000 individually numbered bottles, underscoring its small-scale, collector-focused production.

Food & Serving
Best served neat or with a few drops of water to open up its darker notes, ideally at room temperature. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts, crème brûlée, pecan tart, cigars, or richly flavored cheeses; it can also stand up to a luxurious after-dinner serve on its own. Decanting is not required, but letting it breathe briefly in the glass will enhance the aromatic depth.
