Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine typically shows a deep ruby color with purple highlights. The nose is layered and refined, with aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, cedar, violets, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is poised and structured, with ripe dark fruit, fresh acidity, and finely woven tannins that give the wine a long, focused finish. The 2021 vintage is likely to reward patience, with the balance and structure to age gracefully for many years. While approachable in youth with proper aeration, it will develop greater complexity over time, gaining notes of tobacco, leather, truffle, and dried herbs.

Produced in Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the wine benefits from the estate’s prized gravelly soils, which provide excellent drainage and help Cabernet Sauvignon achieve depth and intensity. The blend reflects careful selection from the vineyard parcels, with harvesting typically done by hand to preserve fruit quality. This is a wine best suited to refined dishes such as roast lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, game birds, or truffle-infused cuisine. It also pairs beautifully with mature hard cheeses.
