Tasting Notes
Deep, concentrated ruby in the glass, the wine already shows impressive intensity and definition. The nose is layered and classic Pauillac, with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violet and subtle spice, supported by beautifully integrated oak. On the palate, it is richly structured yet polished, with ripe Cabernet Sauvignon at the core, complemented by Merlot’s roundness and the aromatic lift of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Expect firm but refined tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, persistent finish marked by cassis, tobacco, mineral notes and dark chocolate. While highly enjoyable for its precision today, this is a wine built for long ageing and should evolve gracefully over several decades.

Production
Produced from the estate’s gravelly Pauillac vineyards, the 2019 vintage benefits from Bordeaux’s classic Left Bank terroir: well-drained soils that encourage deep root development and naturally suit Cabernet Sauvignon. The blend is carefully selected from the château’s best plots and vinified with precision to preserve freshness, aromatic complexity and structural balance.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for classic red meat dishes such as prime rib, grilled entrecôte, lamb rack or slow-braised beef, as well as game, truffle dishes and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C and decant for several hours if opening young, especially to allow the tannins and aromatic layers to fully open.
