Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple in colour, the wine opens with concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, complemented by violets, graphite, cedar and subtle spice. With time in the glass, darker notes of cocoa and earth emerge. The palate is full-bodied and richly textured, balancing ripe dark fruit with well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity. Layers of cassis, black cherry, dark chocolate and savoury mineral notes lead to a long, polished finish. It is enjoyable now with decanting, but has the structure and balance to develop gracefully over the next 10–15 years or longer when properly stored.

Sourced from the Oakville AVA in the heart of Napa Valley, the wine benefits from a warm, sunny climate moderated by cool evening breezes, helping the grapes achieve ripe flavours while retaining freshness. The exact blend is not specified here, but Cœur de Vallée is traditionally centred on Cabernet Sauvignon, often complemented by Bordeaux varieties.
