Grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to ensure only the healthiest bunches make it to the cellar. After a gentle crush, fermentation takes place under temperature control to preserve aromatics and varietal character, followed by a long maceration to extract color, flavor and tannin. As a Gran Reserva, the wine is aged for an extended period—traditionally several years in quality oak barrels, followed by prolonged bottle aging—allowing primary fruit to meld with complex tertiary notes and delivering the layered, harmonious profile expected from top-tier Ribera del Duero.
