Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear ruby hue with the first signs of garnet at the rim, typical of young Barolo. The nose is refined and layered, offering red cherry, rose petal, violets, liquorice, and hints of spice, earth, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is structured and vibrant, with firm tannins, fresh acidity, and a core of red berry fruit balanced by savory, mineral notes. It has the classic tension and depth of Nebbiolo, and while already expressive, it will reward cellaring as its aromas and textures continue to unfold over time.

Production
Made from Nebbiolo grown in the Barolo area of Piedmont, where calcareous marl soils and cool hillside exposures help preserve freshness and aromatic complexity. The grapes are typically harvested by hand to ensure optimal selection, and vinification follows a traditional approach designed to preserve the varietal character and aging potential of the wine.

This Barolo is a natural partner for rich, flavorful dishes such as braised beef, veal shank, game, mushroom risotto, truffle pasta, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for one to two hours, especially if drinking young, to allow the wine to open fully.
