Crafted in a modern, Burgundy-inspired style, it combines Serralunga’s classic power with a more polished, approachable expression.

Tasting Notes
This Barolo typically shows a deep garnet hue with youthful ruby highlights. The nose is lifted and precise, with aromas of red cherry, wild berries, rose petal, and subtle spice, layered with earthy notes, leather, and a touch of oak. On the palate, it is medium-full to full-bodied with firm, refined tannins and a fresh, energetic backbone. The Meriame cru lends a grounded, savory character, while the élevage in large Slavonian oak and French tonneaux adds texture without overpowering the fruit. It has the structure to age beautifully over the next 8–15 years, gaining complexity and softness with time.

Production
The wine comes from cru Meriame in Serralunga d’Alba, one of the most respected zones in Barolo, where limestone and clay soils help produce wines with tension, grip, and longevity. Some of the vines are up to 70 years old, and the estate has roots dating back to 1948. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, followed by 24 months of aging in oak, with at least 60% in large 3,000-liter Slavonian oak casks and the remainder in French tonneaux.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C and decant for 1–2 hours if enjoying it young. This Barolo pairs beautifully with truffle dishes, braised beef, roast lamb, game, mushroom risotto, and aged hard cheeses.
