Manos Cava Brut is a refreshing, full-flavoured alternative to Champagne, offering fine bubbles and lively acidity at an appealing price. Produced in the heart of Spain’s Penedès region, this non-vintage Cava reflects the area’s Mediterranean climate and long tradition of bottle-fermented sparkling wine. The estate was founded in 1985 and has since earned recognition in Spain and across Europe.

Tasting Notes
Bright and lively in the glass, with a persistent stream of fine bubbles. The nose is fresh and inviting, while the palate combines a rounded, full-bodied texture with crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. Its two years of bottle ageing contribute added harmony and refinement. It is ready to enjoy now and is best appreciated for its freshness rather than extended cellaring.

Production
The estate’s 100 hectares of vineyards lie in Penedès, around 40 kilometres south of Barcelona, protected by the Montserrat mountains and influenced by the nearby Mediterranean Sea. The grapes are gently pressed before fermentation in September at a consistent 15°C. The final blend and bottling take place during winter, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle at 16°C. The bottles then rest horizontally in the cellars for two years, developing the wine’s fine mousse and rounded character.

Food & Serving
A versatile choice as an aperitif, this Brut Cava also pairs beautifully with fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Serve well chilled at approximately 6–8°C. Decanting is not recommended, as it would diminish the wine’s delicate bubbles; instead, open carefully and serve immediately in sparkling-wine glasses.
