Malavasi Camilla 2024 is a beautifully expressive white wine from the southern shores of Lake Garda, where family tradition and careful, natural vineyard work come together in a wine that feels both generous and fresh. Made in the Lugana zone, home of the native Turbiana grape, it reflects a long heritage of quality and the distinctive microclimate that has made this area one of Italy’s most admired white wine regions.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright, luminous straw-yellow colour with a clean, inviting sheen. The nose is delicate yet layered, with fresh citrus, white flowers, orchard fruit and a subtle mineral edge that hints at the calcareous soils of the vineyard. On the palate, the wine is fuller than its elegance first suggests, offering a rounded texture balanced by freshness and a saline, refreshing finish. Its combination of richness and finesse gives it real appeal at the table, and while it is made to be enjoyed young for its vibrant fruit, it should also hold gracefully for a few years as its mineral and textural depth develops.

Production
The vineyards are located in Pozzolengo, at the southern tip of Lake Garda, where warm sunshine, the cooling Pelér wind and the lake’s moderating influence create an ideal environment for Turbiana. The limestone-rich soils contribute minerals and structure, while the family’s naturally minded vineyard approach helps preserve the character of each parcel. Winemaking is carried out with close attention to detail, supported by Franco and Matteo Bernabei, with the goal of expressing both precision and the full potential of the site.

Food & Serving
Serve this wine well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to highlight its freshness and refine its texture. It pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, light pasta dishes, risotto, shellfish and softly aged cheeses; decanting is generally not necessary, though a few minutes in the glass can help open its aromas.
