Crafted by Antica Fattoria Machiavelli, it reflects both the prestige of the region and the timeless appeal of a well-aged Italian classic.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red colour with mature garnet reflections, a sign of its age and evolution. The bouquet is expressive and layered, with blackcurrant, ripe cherry and warm spice leading the way, followed by subtle earthy notes and hints of leather and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with ripe tannins, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish. Its aged character gives it a smooth, elegant texture, and while it is already developed, it can still hold up well for a few more years under proper storage.

Production
Produced in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico zone, this Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from the region’s well-drained soils and warm, sunlit growing conditions, which help grapes reach full ripeness while retaining freshness. The wine was made from selected Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, harvested with quality in mind, and vinified to preserve concentration, structure and varietal character.

Food & Serving
This wine is an excellent match for grilled or roasted red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses. Serve it at 16-18°C to bring out its full aromatic range, and consider decanting for at least 30 minutes if the bottle has been resting for a long time, to allow the wine to open up fully.
