On the palate, it is medium-bodied and smooth, balancing Sangiovese’s fresh acidity with Merlot’s rounder, juicier texture, finishing clean and supple. This is a wine made for immediate enjoyment, though it can gain a little extra harmony over the next 2-4 years. Its fresh fruit profile and soft structure make it especially appealing while young, when the wine’s energy and charm are at their best.

L'Um Rosso comes from Umbria, a central Italian region known for its rolling hills, clay and limestone soils, and a climate that supports steady ripening while preserving freshness. Sangiovese and Merlot are harvested separately and vinified with the aim of keeping the fruit expressive and the tannins gentle, before blending to create a balanced, modern-style regional red.

Food & Serving
This wine works beautifully with pasta with tomato-based sauces, roasted poultry, grilled vegetables, and mildly seasoned pork dishes. Serve it slightly cool, around 16-18°C, to highlight its freshness and fruit. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help open the aromas if served soon after opening.
