Tasting Notes
Cristal Rosé 2012 shows a beautiful salmon-pink hue with golden reflections, immediately signaling both elegance and richness in the glass. The bouquet is intense and expressive, with concentrated red berry aromas that open further with time, revealing layers of ripe cherry and delicate floral nuances. On the palate, this is a generous and deeply textured Champagne, combining ripe red fruit, plum, and almond notes with impressive precision and balance. The finish is soft, long, and refined, and the wine’s structure suggests excellent aging potential, allowing its complexity to evolve beautifully over time.

Production
Cristal Rosé is made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, with the color and style achieved through maceration, where Pinot Noir skins remain in contact with the juice for several hours before pressing. Louis Roederer also uses fruit from some of its oldest vines, which yield exceptionally ripe grapes with outstanding aromatic concentration. The result is a Champagne that reflects both meticulous vineyard selection and careful, highly skilled vinification.

Food & Serving
This Champagne is a superb match for refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, tuna tartare, caviar, truffle risotto, or delicate game birds. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to allow its aromatics and texture to show at their best. Decanting is not usually necessary, but a little time in the glass will help it раскрыve its full complexity.
