Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2015 is a Champagne made only in the house’s best years, created to showcase the character of a single vintage rather than a fixed style. Built around Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from top sites, it combines depth, freshness, and refinement in a way that reflects Louis Roederer’s long-standing expertise with vintage Champagne.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright pale-golden colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is led by Pinot Noir-driven aromas from the vineyards around Verzenay and Verzy, bringing raspberry and cherry, followed by Chardonnay notes of dried figs and apricots, with subtle toasted nuances from oak ageing. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with impressive backbone and generous texture. Flavours of white peach, citrus, and rosehip are lifted by hints of vanilla and bitter chocolate, while the finish is marked by excellent balance between freshness, firmness, richness, and elegance. This is a powerful vintage Champagne with good ageing potential.

Production
The 2015 Brut Vintage is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. After alcoholic fermentation, 27% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, and 39% was matured in oak barrels, adding complexity and roundness. Secondary fermentation in bottle lasted four years, and the dosage is made with reserve wines from Roederer’s finest Grand Cru parcels, aged in barrel for 4 to 10 years.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile Champagne that works beautifully as an aperitif, but its structure also makes it a fine match for white meats, roast poultry, or richer seafood dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is not necessary, though allowing the wine a few minutes in the glass can help раскры its aromatic layers.
