Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep garnet-red colour, a sign of ripe, carefully handled fruit. The nose opens with red berry aromas layered with spicy accents, giving the wine an inviting lift and a sense of complexity right from the start. On the palate, this is a structured and balanced Pinot Noir with good depth and a long, persistent finish. The wine feels marked and enduring rather than delicate, with the concentration to develop further over time and gain additional nuance in bottle.

Production
Produced from 100% Pinot Noir in the Premier Cru Morgeot vineyard of Chassagne-Montrachet, this wine comes from a small 7-hectare domaine in Burgundy. The vines are pruned using the Cordon de Royat method, a technique that helps limit yields and encourages optimal ripening, contributing to the wine’s concentration and balance.

Food & Serving
This Premier Cru Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast duck, guinea fowl, game birds, mushroom dishes, and fine cuts of veal or pork. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if the wine is enjoyed in its youth to let the aromas unfold fully.
