Description

Lionel Osmin & Cie is a distinctive specialist house devoted entirely to the wines and spirits of South West France, and Clos Cancaillaü Le Dernier Carré Jurançon 2017 is a fine example of that focus. Produced in the historic Jurançon appellation, it reflects the region’s cool Atlantic influence, local grape tradition, and the house’s commitment to sustainable, residue-free viticulture.

Producer
Lionel Osmin & Cie is a specialist négociant and producer founded around the wines of South West France, with a portfolio spanning Jurançon, Pacherenc du Vic Bilh, Cahors, Gaillac, Bergerac, and Armagnac. The company works as organically as possible across its vineyards and has also earned recognition for environmental stewardship, including a major tree-planting program launched in 2010 that contributed to the reforestation of the Landes forest. By the end of 2018, nearly 43,000 trees had been replanted across more than 40 hectares, underscoring the house’s long-term commitment to balance, biodiversity, and regional identity.
