Les Vignobles Torpez Côtes de Provence Petite Bravade is a characterful red from the Saint-Tropez area, combining generous Provençal fruit with polished, velvety tannins. Produced as a non-vintage cuvée, it reflects the elegance of the region while celebrating the centuries-old history and distinctive cultural identity of this iconic Mediterranean village.

Tasting Notes
The wine displays a beautiful cherry-red colour with ruby highlights. Its aromatic nose opens with notes of stewed red fruit and liqueur-like cherries, complemented by delicate floral and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fruit-driven, with a smooth, rounded texture and silky tannins. The oak maturation adds subtle depth while preserving the wine’s generous fruit character. It is approachable now and should be enjoyed while its fresh red-fruit expression and supple structure are at their best.

Production
The grapes are sourced from the distinctive terroir surrounding Saint-Tropez in Côtes de Provence. Approximately 75% are harvested by hand and 25% mechanically. Following gentle pressing under inert gas, the must is clarified and cold-stabilised at 5–6°C for several weeks. Fermentation takes place slowly at 14–20°C to preserve the wine’s aromatic character, followed by maturation for 2–5 years in oak barrels and large foudres, creating a balance between vibrant fruit and soft, integrated tannins.

Food & Serving
A versatile partner for Mediterranean and richly flavoured dishes, this red is well suited to tuna tataki, niçoise-style stews, pork tenderloin, duck blanquette, osso buco, stuffed guinea fowl, ratatouille and stuffed vegetables. It also pairs beautifully with Banon de Provence cheese. Serve lightly chilled at around 14–16°C. Decanting is not essential, but a brief 20–30 minute decant can help open the wine’s fruit and spice aromas.
