Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic brightness of Mosel Riesling, with a pale, luminous colour and an inviting freshness. The nose is expressive and distinctly slate-driven, layered with apple, tropical fruit, honey, mint, and lime blossom. On the palate, the wine feels generous and mouth-filling, repeating those fruity and floral notes while a fine, lively acidity keeps the sweetness beautifully in check. It has the charm to be enjoyed young for its freshness and aroma, though it should also hold well over the next few years as the mineral character and complexity continue to develop.

Production
The Riesling grapes come from the family’s own steep vineyard sites on Blattenberg and Zellerberg in the Mosel, where slate soils and manual farming define the style. The vines are over 40 years old, and yields are kept deliberately low to preserve concentration and fruit quality. Harvesting is done by hand, as the steep slopes make machine work impossible. Winemaking follows the classic Kabinett approach, with fermentation stopped before all the sugar is converted to alcohol, preserving a natural hint of sweetness and the wine’s low-alcohol, high-energy profile.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile wine that works beautifully as an aperitif or simply on its own in good company. It pairs especially well with spicy Asian dishes, fresh seafood, light salads, soft cheeses, and fruit-based desserts, and should be served well chilled at around 8-10°C. Decanting is not necessary; a gentle chill and a clean glass are all it needs to show at its best.

With experience gathered in Bordeaux, Portugal, and New Zealand, the siblings have combined tradition with an international outlook, quickly earning praise from critics and wine lovers alike.
