Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale, bright straw colour that hints at its lively style. The nose is aromatic and lifted, with notes of gooseberry, lime, elderflower, and freshly cut herbs, giving it a distinctly Sauvignon Blanc profile. The palate is juicy and refreshing, with green-fruit freshness, citrus zest, and a clean, well-balanced acidity that keeps it vibrant from start to finish. Thanks to the gentle de-alcoholisation process, it retains good texture and nuance for an alcohol-free wine. Best enjoyed young for maximum freshness, though it is made to be enjoyed now rather than aged.

Production
Produced in Rheingau from estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine comes from carefully selected vineyard parcels under Johannes Leitz’s hands-on approach. The grapes are harvested from the winery’s own sites and fermented at low temperature to preserve the grape’s delicate aromatic character and natural freshness. Alcohol is then gently removed through vacuum distillation at just 27°C, a technique designed to protect flavour, aroma, and structure as much as possible. The result is a thoughtfully made non-alcoholic wine that reflects both precision in the cellar and the quality of the vineyards.

Food & Serving
A versatile food wine, it pairs especially well with sushi, fresh salads, light seafood dishes, goat’s cheese, and vegetable-based plates. Serve well chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, to highlight its crispness and aromatic lift. Decanting is not necessary; simply open and enjoy.

The winery is particularly associated with exceptional vineyard sites around Rüdesheim, including some of the region’s most highly regarded parcels. Today, the next generation is already involved, with Johannes’ son Antonius learning the craft and carrying the family tradition forward.
