Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby color with lively purple reflections, hinting at its youthful energy and concentration. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, supple yet firmly structured, with fine tannins and fresh acidity giving the wine balance and length. Production
Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia is produced in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, where gravelly soils, sea breezes, and a warm but moderated climate create ideal conditions for Bordeaux grape varieties. The blend of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc is harvested by hand, with parcels selected carefully to express both ripeness and precision. Fermentation and maturation are carried out with a focus on purity and balance, typically including aging in French oak to polish the texture and integrate the components.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roasted lamb, grilled beef, braised short ribs, game, and rich mushroom dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for around 30–60 minutes if opening young, especially in magnum format, to allow the aromatics and structure to open fully.
