Production
This wine comes from premium Grenache parcels across the Côtes Catalanes area, with fruit also drawn from the adjoining Languedoc, an area known for its sun-drenched slopes, dry conditions, and expressive Mediterranean terroir. Many of the vines are over 100 years old, which naturally limits yields but greatly increases flavor intensity in the grapes. Mark Hoddy’s approach is centered on selecting the right vineyards rather than the most obvious ones, focusing on sites that can deliver purity, concentration, and balance. The result is a wine that reflects careful vineyard selection and a strong emphasis on fruit quality over quantity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled lamb, roast pork, duck, ratatouille, or rich mushroom dishes, as well as hard cheeses and charcuterie. Serve slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if you want to bring out more aroma and texture.
