In the glass, it shows a deep, opaque ruby colour that hints at its concentration. The nose opens with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, spice, and a subtle touch of toasted oak, all layered with a refined, savory edge. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe tannins giving the wine a firm but graceful structure. Dark fruit is framed by well-integrated acidity, leading to a long finish with notes of dark chocolate and graphite. This is a wine with excellent aging potential and will continue to gain nuance over the next 10–15 years, or longer in a well-managed cellar.

Sourced from L'Aventure Estate in Paso Robles, the wine reflects a terroir defined by intense sunshine, cooling evening breezes, and soils that help concentrate flavor while preserving balance. The grapes are harvested at full phenolic ripeness to capture both richness and structural depth, then vinified with a focus on precision and purity. The final blend is built around Cabernet Sauvignon, with Syrah and Petit Verdot contributing additional texture, color, and aromatic complexity.
