Bright and fresh in appearance, this Grüner Veltliner opens with inviting aromas of crisp apple, ripe pear and citrus, complemented by the variety’s characteristic peppery and subtly spicy notes. The palate is soft, fruity and energetic, with lively acidity that gives the wine a playful, almost musical character and leads to a clean, pleasantly lingering finish. The 2023 vintage is best enjoyed for its youthful freshness and vibrant fruit. Its balance and refreshing acidity allow it to develop gracefully in the short term, although it is particularly appealing when served young.

The grapes are sourced from trusted growers across Kamptal, Kremstal and Weinviertel, regions well suited to producing expressive and refreshing Grüner Veltliner. Laurenz V. focuses on preserving the grape’s natural fruit, spice and lively character, with fermentation carried out at controlled temperatures in stainless-steel tanks. Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its fresh acidity and gentle spice make it an excellent partner for seafood, sushi, shellfish, fresh salads, asparagus, vegetable dishes and light poultry preparations. It also works beautifully with Austrian classics such as Wiener Schnitzel. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving to let the aromas unfold.

Laurenz V. was founded in April 2005 when Laurenz Maria Moser V., a descendant of the celebrated Lenz Moser wine family, dedicated himself fully to Grüner Veltliner production with the support of partners Franz Schweiger and Dieter Hübler. Laurenz Maria oversees the vineyards and vinification, while Schweiger manages finance and Hübler leads marketing and distribution. The estate produces a range of Grüner Veltliner cuvées and exports to 42 countries, helping promote the grape’s diversity and establish a refined, elegant Austrian style on the international stage.
