Laurenz V. Kamptal Reserve Charming Grüner Veltliner 2015 is an elegant, complex expression of Austria’s signature white grape. The wine comes from a producer founded in 2005 by Laurenz Maria Moser V., a descendant of Austria’s celebrated Lenz Moser wine family.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright, attractive appearance, with a refined profile that combines mineral freshness and a smooth, creamy texture. On the nose, expect classic Grüner Veltliner nuances of subtle spice alongside fresh, energetic aromas. The palate is elegant and well-balanced, with lively acidity, delicate savoury tones and a lingering, intensely refreshing finish. As a 2015 vintage with Reserve classification and extended lees ageing, it is well suited to drinking now, offering both maturity and freshness. It may continue to develop gracefully in the bottle over the short to medium term when stored in suitable conditions.

Production
The grapes are sourced from trusted growers in Kamptal, Kremstal and Weinviertel, with the wine presented as a Kamptal Reserve Grüner Veltliner. Vinification takes place in stainless-steel tanks under controlled temperatures, preserving the variety’s freshness and aromatic precision. The wine then rests for eight months on its fine lees before bottling, contributing additional creaminess, texture and complexity. Specific harvesting methods are not provided.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at approximately 10–12°C. Its mineral character, gentle spice and refreshing acidity make it an excellent match for Wiener Schnitzel, roasted poultry, grilled fish, shellfish, vegetable dishes and lightly spiced Asian cuisine. Decanting is generally not necessary, although a brief airing in the glass can help reveal its fuller aromatic profile.
