Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby color with youthful purple highlights. The nose is elegant and composed, offering blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, lifted by cedar, graphite, violets and subtle spice from the oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a long, refined finish. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and cassis-driven intensity, Merlot adds roundness and flesh, while Petit Verdot contributes dark spice and aromatic lift. This is a vintage with excellent aging potential and should continue to gain complexity over the next 15 to 25 years, depending on storage.

Production
Lagrange is located in Saint-Julien, on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, where gravelly soils provide excellent drainage and help the vines ripen evenly. The estate’s terroir is ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Petit Verdot adding balance and depth. The grapes are typically harvested parcel by parcel at optimal maturity, then vinified with a focus on precision and freshness to preserve the character of each plot and the elegance of the vintage.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with classic dishes such as roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast or game birds, as well as mushroom-based dishes and aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C. Decanting for 1 to 2 hours is recommended when young to allow the wine to खुल fully and soften its tannins.
