Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby-garnet color with a youthful core beginning to soften at the rim. The bouquet leans toward blackcurrant, ripe plum, cedar, tobacco leaf, and subtle graphite, with hints of spice and dried herbs emerging as it opens. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with firm but well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a composed, savory finish. It balances dark fruit with earthy and toasted notes, and while already approachable, it should continue to develop complexity over the coming years; best enjoyed now through the next decade or more, depending on storage conditions.

Production
Made in Saint-Julien, one of Bordeaux’s most consistent gravel-soil terroirs, this wine benefits from excellent drainage and a climate well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are typically harvested parcel by parcel to preserve precision and ripeness, then vinified with careful temperature control and aging in oak barrels to build structure, texture, and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, and mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for about 1–2 hours if drinking now to allow the aromas and structure to fully open.
