La Provenquière Les Invincibles Le Conquérant 2024 is a confident, modern Chardonnay that combines richness, creaminess and finesse in one polished expression. Crafted from carefully selected parcels and given a gentle touch of oak, it reflects the house’s flair for making wines with both generosity and precision.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow colour with a warm glow that hints at ripeness and concentration. The nose is expressive and elegant, opening with ripe peach and white stone fruit, followed by subtle layers of vanilla, butter, light toast, brioche and a delicate floral lift. The palate is full-bodied and round, with a creamy texture kept lively by fresh acidity. Ripe fruit remains at the centre, while the oak adds depth, nuance and length rather than weight. The finish is long and smooth, with a faint mineral edge, suggesting good balance and the ability to develop a little further over the next few years.

Production
This Chardonnay comes from carefully selected vineyard parcels in France, chosen for their ability to deliver ripe fruit with good natural balance. After harvest, the wine is vinified with a restrained use of oak, allowing the varietal character to shine while adding texture, complexity and a refined creamy dimension.

Food & Serving
Excellent with grilled fish, poultry in a creamy sauce, and mushroom pasta, where its richness and freshness can complement the dish beautifully. Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant if you want to let the oak and fruit aromas open up more fully.
