Production
Made from 100% Sangiovese grown in Tuscany, this Riserva reflects the character of one of Brunello’s most important terroirs. The grapes were harvested in 1988 and the wine was matured for 36 months in oak casks, followed by an additional 24 months in bottle before release, allowing the wine to develop its signature depth and harmony.

This Brunello Riserva pairs wonderfully with roasted red meats, game, braised dishes, and mature cheeses. Serve at 18-20°C, and consider decanting for about an hour if opening it now, especially to let its older aromas and flavors open fully in the glass.
