Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color with the beginnings of garnet evolution expected from a mature vintage. The bouquet is layered and expressive, with ripe red and dark fruit, warming spices and notes of leather that add classic old-world character. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with a lively, well-integrated acidity that keeps the wine fresh and balanced. The finish is long and persistent, with enough depth to suggest it can still reward careful cellaring, though it is already delivering mature drinking pleasure now.

Production
This wine comes from Tuscany, where the soils and climate around Montalcino help Sangiovese develop concentration, finesse and a distinctive savory edge. The grapes are harvested with care and then vinified in the traditional style before spending a minimum of four years in oak barrels, which shapes the wine’s structure and adds aromatic complexity.
