On the palate, expect a medium- to full-bodied wine with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and layers of dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy nuance. The finish is persistent and refined, suggesting good development in bottle. The 2017 vintage is generally approachable in its youth, yet the structure and balance give it the potential to age gracefully for several more years, gaining complexity and softness over time.
