Tasting Notes
Bright and refined in appearance, this Riesling opens with layered aromas of ripe apple, citrus fruit and subtle honey, complemented by a distinctly mineral impression. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced, with ripe fruit, lively yet integrated acidity and a silky, focused texture. The finish is long and harmonious, revealing additional nuances with time in the glass. Although already enjoyable, this is a wine with excellent cellaring potential and should develop greater complexity over the next decade or more.

Production
The Hubacker vineyard lies in Flörsheim-Dalsheim in Rheinhessen, an area known for its limestone-rich soils and outstanding Riesling sites. The wine is made from carefully selected grapes from this prestigious vineyard and classified as a Grosses Gewächs (GG), Germany’s designation for dry wines from top VDP vineyard sites. Keller’s approach emphasizes precise, gentle vinification and the expression of the vineyard, resulting in a wine of clarity, depth and long-term structure.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 10–12°C, allowing it to warm slightly in the glass as its aromas unfold. It pairs particularly well with grilled or poached fish, shellfish, roast poultry and refined vegetable dishes, while its acidity and mineral character also complement mild, delicate cheeses. Decanting is not essential, but a brief decant of 30–60 minutes can help reveal the wine’s full complexity, especially when enjoyed young.
