Production

In 1950, the grapes would have been harvested by hand from selected parcels, with vinification focused on preserving the natural perfume, delicacy, and balancing sweetness typical of top Spätlese Riesling.

This wine is superb with fruit-based desserts, tarte tatin, or lightly sweet pastries, but it also shines alongside blue cheese, aged cheeses, or foie gras. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless you wish to separate the wine from any sediment and allow it to open slowly in the glass.
