Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a pale, luminous gold with a restrained, elegant profile. The nose opens with citrus, chalk dust, white flowers, and a subtle hint of toasted nuts, building slowly into a more layered and mineral expression as it breathes. On the palate, it is sleek, focused, and vibrantly textured, with a stony, almost chiseled character and a long, saline finish. The 2021 vintage’s freshness gives the wine a linear, energetic feel, while its underlying structure suggests excellent aging potential over the next decade or more.

Production
Les Perrières is one of the most mineral and finely structured sites in Meursault, with limestone-rich soils that naturally lend the wine its tension and signature saline edge. The fruit is harvested by hand and vinified gently, with spontaneous fermentation and aging in about 30% new oak to add subtle depth without masking the vineyard’s character. No bâtonnage is used, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration to preserve its clarity and nerve.

Food & Serving
This wine is a superb match for shellfish, grilled lobster, scallops, turbot, and other refined seafood dishes, as well as poultry in cream or beurre blanc sauces. Serve it at around 10–12°C, and consider a brief decant if opening young to allow the aromas and texture to fully unfold.
