Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a bright, clear pale color with a faint golden glint. The nose is lifted and fresh, with citrus, grapefruit, lemon, green apple, floral tones, and a distinct mineral edge of chalk, wet stone, and flint. The palate is crisp and energetic, driven by vibrant acidity and a sleek, focused texture. Citrus, lime, and juicy apple are wrapped in a saline, stony mineral note that brings depth and length to the finish. This is a balanced and serious Sancerre with enough structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Production
Cuvée Marnes et Caillottes is sourced from two complementary soil types in Sancerre: light, chalky caillottes that enhance aromatic lift and precision, and heavier marl soils that contribute weight, structure, and length. The grapes are handled with a strong focus on freshness and clarity, and the wine is made in a clean, unadorned style to let fruit and minerality shine through. It is then given a short period of bottle aging before release to help the wine knit together and gain harmony.

Food & Serving
This Sancerre is an excellent match for oysters, shellfish, goat cheese, grilled white fish, sushi, and light vegetable dishes. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and no decanting is necessary.
