Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a beautiful golden-yellow color that hints at its time in oak. On the palate, it is generous, flavorful, and well balanced, with a rounded texture and a persistent finish. The wine’s structure and complexity suggest it can develop further in bottle over the short to medium term, while remaining delicious now for those who enjoy a richer style of white wine.

Production
The estate lies in La Seca, Valladolid, where 104 hectares of vineyards are spread across a mosaic of plots, farms, and small parcels. The terroir is defined by gravel and stones, a continental climate with strong day-night temperature swings, and low humidity—ideal conditions for Verdejo to show freshness, precision, and personality. Fermentation and aging in oak barrels for six months add depth and complexity to the wine.

This Verdejo is a great match for grilled fish, roast chicken, creamy seafood dishes, and aged cheeses, as well as richer Mediterranean cuisine. Serve it at around 10–12°C to bring out both its freshness and its oak-influenced character; decanting is not necessary, though a little time in the glass will help the aromas open up.
