Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a vivid, appealing red hue with a lively, artisanal feel. The nose is notably expressive and unusual, offering an aromatic profile that reflects the grape’s rare heritage and the freshness of the estate’s old-vine setting. On the palate, it is remembered for its personality, persistence and balance, combining freshness with complexity and a distinctive sense of place. Production
The vines are grown in La Seca, Valladolid, on an estate shaped like a mosaic of plots, farms and small vineyards, all within the Rueda appellation. The terroir is defined by gravelly, stony soils, a continental climate with strong day-to-night temperature shifts and low humidity, conditions that help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The wine is made from 100% Cenicienta, a rare red grape revived from a historic family vineyard planted in 1863, with production guided by sustainable viticulture and a strong respect for traditional local heritage.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile red for roasted poultry, grilled lamb, mushroom dishes, charcuterie and aged cheeses, especially where savory flavors can match its aromatic depth and firm persistence. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and consider a short decant if serving young to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
