Tasting Notes
Pale golden in the glass, the wine opens with aromas of poached pear, honey, and ripe stone fruit, followed by subtle toasted tones, sweet nutty notes, and a touch of almond marzipan. There is also a distinctive waxy, natural-gum nuance that adds intrigue and depth to the bouquet. On the palate, it is textured and focused, with fine oak integration and a creamy mid-palate lifted by mineral, drying notes on the finish. The overall impression is elegant and linear rather than heavy, with enough structure to evolve gracefully over the next few years.

Sourced from Tuscany, the wine is made with an emphasis on preserving Chardonnay’s natural clarity and texture. It is fermented in oak and then aged on fine lees with frequent stirring, a method that builds richness, complexity, and a more layered mouthfeel while keeping the fruit character precise.

This Chardonnay is an excellent match for roast chicken, veal, creamy pasta dishes, lobster, or grilled fish with butter-based sauces. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and a short decant is optional but can help the aromas open up if the wine is served young.
