Tasting Notes

Production
The vineyards of I Magredi lie in the Friuli region, north of Venice toward Trieste, where cool nights, warm days and well-draining, gravelly soils help Glera grapes retain their natural acidity and aromatic precision. Grapes are typically harvested in the cooler hours to preserve freshness and are gently pressed to obtain clean, fragrant must. Fermentation takes place at controlled low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks to lock in delicate fruit and floral notes, followed by the Charmat (tank) method for the second fermentation, which develops the fine bubbles and maintains the wine’s pristine, fruit-forward character. The result is a Prosecco that is both classically styled and distinctly shaped by its Friulian terroir.

Pair it with light seafood dishes such as shrimp cocktail, oysters, grilled prawns or simple fish crudo, as well as fresh salads, vegetable tempura, sushi, mild cheeses and classic Italian antipasti.
