Tasting Notes
In the glass, it often shows a deep golden amber hue with flashes of old gold. The nose is layered and refined, opening with dried fruits, orange peel, soft smoke, polished oak, baking spice, and hints of honeyed malt, leather, and maritime air. On the palate, it is typically full-bodied and silky, with complex waves of raisins, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, citrus zest, peat embers, and warming spice. The finish is long, nuanced, and gently smoky, with lingering oak, dried fruit sweetness, and a mineral, coastal edge. This is an exceptionally long-lived whisky that continues to evolve beautifully in the glass and can age gracefully in bottle for many years.

Serve at room temperature in a tulip-shaped whisky glass, and decanting is not necessary.
