Highland Park 18 Year Old is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky from Orkney, balancing rich sherry-influenced sweetness with the island’s gently smoky character. Bottled at 43% ABV, it stands out for its depth, polished texture and beautifully integrated notes of dried fruit, spice and aromatic peat smoke.

Aroma & Palate
The nose opens with fragrant heather smoke, ripe dried fruit, baked cherries and hints of dark chocolate and marzipan. On the palate, layers of honey, spiced apple, orange zest and rich dried fruit are complemented by Highland Park’s delicate, aromatic peat. The texture is smooth and rounded, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering oak spice, fruit and soft smoke.

Distillation & Maturation
Matured for a minimum of 18 years in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, this single malt develops its characteristic balance of sweetness, spice and gentle smoke over time. The whisky is bottled at 43% ABV.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy Highland Park 18 Year Old neat at room temperature to appreciate its full complexity, or add a few drops of water to open up the aromas. It can also be served over a large ice cube, although its layered character is best explored without a mixer. It pairs particularly well with dark chocolate, mature hard cheeses, smoked salmon or roasted nuts.

Founded in 1798, Highland Park is based in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands, where the cool maritime climate contributes to the whisky’s gradual maturation. The distillery is known for its use of sherry-seasoned oak casks, locally influenced peat smoke and traditional floor malting, creating single malts that combine gentle smokiness with a distinctive coastal elegance.
