Tasting Notes
The wine opens with generous aromas of ripe stone fruit, complemented by subtle notes of honey and delicate spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with lively acidity providing freshness and balance. A creamy texture and persistent finish bring depth and complexity, while the wine’s structure suggests excellent potential for further development in bottle.

Production
La Serra Blanc comes from a single vineyard planted with more than a century-old Garnatxa Blanca vines, whose deep roots draw on the characteristic soils of Terra Alta. Herència Altés works with old vineyards and naturally low yields, handling the grapes with great care and allowing the wine time to develop structure and complexity in the cellar. The approach is intentionally restrained, aiming to express the site and the variety as clearly as possible.

Food & Serving
This richly textured white is an excellent match for shellfish, crustaceans, and fried or grilled fish. Its concentration and subtle spiciness also complement poultry, dishes with creamy sauces, Asian-inspired preparations, and gently spiced cuisine. Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C; decanting is not essential, but a brief period of aeration can help reveal the wine’s depth and complexity.
