Production
Hennessy VS is produced in the Cognac region of France, where chalky soils and a temperate maritime climate give the Ugni Blanc grape its ideal balance of freshness and acidity. Grapes are harvested and gently pressed, then the wines are distilled twice in traditional copper pot stills to create clear, aromatic eaux-de-vie. These spirits are then aged in French oak barrels, where they develop color, structure, and complexity. The final cognac is a carefully crafted blend of many different eaux-de-vie, each selected and assembled by Hennessy’s master blender and tasting committee to maintain the house’s consistent style.

Enjoy it neat or over a large ice cube, or use it as a premium base for cocktails like a classic Sidecar, French 75 (with cognac), or a simple Hennessy & Ginger. Serve slightly chilled or at cool room temperature (around 16–20°C / 60–68°F). Decanting is not necessary; the spirit is ready to enjoy straight from the bottle.
